On March 5, 2024, the City of Compton conducted the Primary Nominating Election, specifically for the following offices:
City Council District 1 voted into office by registered voters in District 1
City Council District 4 voted into office by registered voters in District 4
City Clerk voted into office by registered voters in all Compton City districts.
No candidate for the above listed offices received 51% of the votes cast during the Primary Nominating Election held on March 5, 2024.
Consequently, the runoff election will be held on November 5, 2024.
The candidates in the runoff election for each of the above listed offices are the two candidates who have received the highest number of votes in the March 5, 2024 election.
